General Election 2018: Imran Khan to contest elections from five constituencies

PTI chief Imran Khan will contest elections from five different constituencies in July 25th general elections. He has submitted nomination papers from NA-35 Bannu, NA-53 Islamabad, NA-95 Mianwali, NA-131 Lahore ad NA-243 Karachi. Imran Khan will contest against former Chief Minister KPK Akram Durrani in NA-35 Bannu. Imran Khan is also contesting from NA-53 Islamabad where Former lawmaker of PTI Ayesha Gulalai has also announced to contest.

 PML-N hasn’t decided its candidate in this Islamabad constituency. Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Sardar Mehtab Khan and Tariq Fazal Chaudhry of PML-N have submitted nomination papers from NA-53. The party will announce its candidate to face Imran Khan.  PML-N candidate Ubaidullah Khan Shadikhel will contest against him in his native NA-95 Mianwali constituency. Former minister of railways Khawaja Saad Rafique will face him in NA-131 Lahore.  

MQM-P convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and former deputy speaker Sindh Assembly Syeda Shehla Raza will face Imran Khan in NA-243 Karachi. It will be Imran Khan’s first election in Karachi.
