Hasan, Shadab help Pakistan set 247 target against New Zealand

NELSON:  Fifties from Mohammad Hafeez, Hasan Ali and Shadab Khan carry Pakistan to 246. A terrific comeback to post something they can defend in the second one-day international against New Zealand in Nelson on Tuesday.

 Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat in the second one-day international against New Zealand in Nelson on Tuesday. Their top order struggled early on, to find and hit gaps regularly, resulting in several big shots, some of which came off, some of which didn't.

Inam-ul-Haq has replaced injured Fakhar Zaman in the second one-day international against New Zealand in Nelson. Fakhar scored unbeaten 82 in last ODI was played in Wellington.

On Saturday, New Zealand ended Pakistan's run of nine consecutive wins in one-day internationals when they beat the Champions Trophy holders by 61 runs under the Duckworth-Lewis system to open the five-match series.
