KARACHI: The Softball federation of Pakistan (SFP) has decided to hire the services of trainers-cum-physiotherapist Kim Anne Buchholtz and Lesley De Koker for the national women softball team, which is to participate in a series of International events this year. SFP’s Secretary General Asif Azeem said they recently held meetings in Dubai with the two well-known trainers from South Africa. “An agreement has been signed with them,” he stated. He said that they were aiming to strengthen women players who would be representing Pakistan in a series in Malaysia and Asian Junior Women Softball Championship in the Philippines from May 8 to 18. The women team is also to play Asian Universities Softball Championship in October in China. He said that they were looking forward to the Pakistan Sports Board’s (PSB) support regarding the foreign trainers.
